Title I

Welcome, families, to Southside Early Childhood Center!

We're thrilled to have your child as part of our learning community. As we begin this exciting journey together, we want to share some important information about our school.

Southside Early Childhood Center is proud to be a Title I school. This means we receive federal funding to help us provide the best possible education for all our students. Title I is a U.S. government program that supports schools with a high percentage of children from low-income families. The extra funding we receive allows us to hire additional teachers, purchase new educational materials, and offer special programs that benefit every child in our school.

We want to be partners in your child's education, and that means keeping you informed every step of the way. We have a copy of our current Title I Plan available for you to review in the front office. This plan outlines how we use our Title I funding to support student achievement.

If you have any questions about our Title I program or would like to learn more about how it benefits your child, please don't hesitate to reach out. Our Title I Program Administrator and Assistant Principal, Mrs. Beth Hall-Caulder, would be happy to help. You can contact her at 843-857-3361.
